DESCRIPTION
Solar Turbine Genset and a Control Room. This package was commissioned in 2013 and decommissioned in 2015 with only 12,400 total hours on the system.
This Solar Turbine generator is a model Saturn 20 capable of just under 1.2 MW of power that is generated from a 1,590HP natural gas turbine. This unit is designed to generate large amounts of power from burning natural gas to deliver power to remote locations where power is not available. This unit comes with an MCC building to run the turbine which includes a control panel, emissions monitoring system, and power distribution and monitoring instruments. This package is designed to deliver 600V – 3-phase power with transformers for lower voltages. The unit has a fully automated fire suppression system with multiple fire eyes in the genset unit. This package was commissioned in 2013 and decommissioned in 2015 with only 12,400 total hours on the system.
