Alberta Oil Production Hits Multi-Year High: What It Means for Equipment Demand

Alberta's oil and gas sector is experiencing a significant production upswing, with the province posting some of its highest crude output numbers in recent years. This growth is being driven by continued development in the Montney and Duvernay formations, as well as ongoing oil sands expansion.

For oilfield equipment suppliers like Inclusive Energy, this translates directly into increased demand for production infrastructure — storage tanks, separator packages, treaters, and compressor units are all seeing strong inquiry volumes heading into 2026.

Key industry trends we're watching: • Montney liquids production growth driving separator and storage demand • Increasing sour service requirements as operators push into deeper formations • Renewed interest in facility upgrades and capacity expansions • Strong frac tank demand driven by drilling activity increases

Inclusive Energy is well-positioned to support this growth with our large inventory of new and pre-owned equipment across our three Alberta facilities. We've increased our fabrication capacity at our Red Deer shop to meet rising custom build requests.
